Guarantee of Financial Protection

GigCouncil (GC) Freelancers will be paid only after the agreed scope of work has been completed in accordance with the GigCouncil’s basic principles.

It actually does the following:


Your payment will be saved in your GC account dashboard.

Once the order is accepted, the buyer credits the money to the GC account. Buyer agrees not to pay the freelancer until the work is completed so that the freelancer can start work with peace of mind.

No payment until the project is completed. Once the project is completed, the freelancer creates an invoice for payment. If the buyer is satisfied with the results, complete the invoice payment. This includes authorization to release funds held in the employer’s account to the freelancer. The buyer can reject the invoice and tell the freelancer that the work has not yet been completed or they are not satisfied with the results.

Cancellation and Refund

If the Freelancer does not complete the work within the specified period, the Buyer may request a refund of the funds held in the GC Account. The freelancer is entitled to receive at least partial remuneration for the work performed if the client interrupts the work already started for another reason.

Dispute Resolution

GigCouncil’s customer support team will assist you if necessary and will advise you whether the Buyer is entitled to a refund if you fail to perform the agreed work, or whether the freelancer has paid for part or Decide if you are responsible for the full amount. Dispute resolution to determine if you have a right to provide.
